I lost my dad and mom in 30 days!

WOW, the last few weeks have been brutal personally. I lost my dad January 7th and this past Tuesday (February 3rd), I lost my mom. My parents were married for over 65 years and had an incredible "Coming to America" love story that would make the next sequel to the movie the Notebook. In addition, I lost two uncles and one cousin within the last 5 months. Needless to say, none of this was expected, and the healing process is filled with many blessings and incredible memories.

Over the summer, I wrote a post called "What is your Dash"

WHAT IS YOUR DASH?
https://delilahhome.com/blogs/delilahs-blog/what-is-your-dash

The dash—just a tiny line between two dates—is so much more than a punctuation mark in time. It represents everything that happens in between: every experience, every relationship, every choice, and every action. It’s a reminder that while the start and end of our lives are out of our control, that dash is where we make our impact.

That dash is what defines us.

As their life is measured within that dash, I humbly take their "openness" and willing to help out a stranger. I know their teachings taught me this incredible value (along with my amazing wife and daughters) and what is truly instilled in my company Delilah Home

We all have a finite amount of time on this earth. Let’s fill it with kindness, generosity, and a commitment to leaving the world a little bit better than we found it. My parents made me better in SOOOOO many ways. I am looking forward to making those around me even better!
