Our Delilah Home products are made to last years. However, chemicals and heat destroy any fiber. So, if you use chemical free detergent (baking soda is excellent) and medium heat with no fabric sheet (dryer balls with essential oils work great), you will prolong your Delilah Home investment.
Instructions:
Towel Care Instructions
Wash in cold water. Wash without bleach or optical brighteners. Tumble dry on low or medium heat. Expect light shedding during the first wash/dry cycle – this is normal and will lessen over time.
For best results: Wash towels separately from clothes or bedding. Buttons, zippers, and rough fabrics can snag loops, while washing with sheets can cause friction damage. Prevent fading by washing immediately if towels come into contact with makeup or skincare products, which can cause discoloration.

"Absolutely fantastic sheets! I couldn’t be happier with my hemp sheets. They fit my mattress better than any sheets I’ve ever owned, and they are incredibly comfortable. "Absolutely LOVE the feel of these sheets. They have made my nights way less restless from temperature regulation issues. The only think I dislike is that the pillow cases are HUGE. I get the oversized bottom sheets due to thick mattresses. But we have king size pillows (not cheap or flat ones either) and the cases just turn all night because they’re SO loose. Plus they’re at least 6 inches too long to utilize the envelope ends. I may have to get out my sewing machine. Despite that issue, I’d buy them again and again."
"I got a set of hemp sheets and put them on the bed while wife was away on a trip. When she got back and crawled into bed she said, “are these new sheets? I don’t like them, too rough. ” After a couple of nights she said “I think they’re softening up. ” After another couple of nights, “l don’t seem to sweat as much in these sheets. ” I told her, “They are recommended for menopausal women with hot flashes. Shall I get another set?” “Yes,” she said. I also sweat in the night sometimes with other sheets, but not with these sheets so far. I also like them because they have more area than an other sheets I’ve had, and actually fit the mattress like they are supposed to. One downside, they seem to have less friction, so blankets fall off onto the floor easier than with other kinds of sheets I’ve had. Still working to figure out how to minimize that."

"Dealing with Michael at Delilah Homes has been a pleasure. I was excited to buy an organic hemp bed sheet set before they were closed out for good. Hemp is my favorite material to sleep on. (Linen is second in line. ) The hemp sheets are comfortable after the first wash and just get more so after every wash."

"I haven’t used the sheets yet, so I can’t rate them based on experience over time. What I can rate are initial impressions. They do seem thicker than linen sheets which I appreciate. I appreciate the organic fibers. The thing that bothered me is that they arrived scented and with a feeling of fabric softener on them. I have asthma and chemical sensitivities, so any fragrance is a no go for me. People don’t realize that fragrance is very hard to wash out of fabrics. I had to wash these 6 times before the fragrance faded enough that I could handle the sheets, but not enough that I can sleep on them yet. Fabric softeners can have toxic ingredients and they coat the fibers which ruins the benefits of using that material. I don’t like spending extra money for organic fabric only to have it coated in other chemicals. Fabric softeners are also very hard to wash out of things, and it takes many washings for it to start to go away. I mention this to bring awareness to the situation because it is causing health issues for many but seems to be increasing in practice. It is becoming rare to buy things that don’t have fragrance on them and that is very hard for people like me who can’t breathe with them, and for those who don’t realize these affect everyone in actuality, even if they don’t realize it."
